The last time we checked, we still had a few glorious weeks left in the summer and we're going out with a bang. Finger On the Pulse and MeanRed are teaming up again with The Hapa Kitchen for another backyard barbecue by the Gowanus. We're taking it home with a Hawaiian-themed menu with roast pig! Hawaiian favorites like macaroni salad will be given a seasonal and local twist with food from Garden of Eve Farm and Tamarack Hollow Farm, and Brooklyn's own Sixpoint Craft Ales will be pouring their latest brews. DJ Never Forget and Terry Diabolik will be spinning on the platters that matter, playing everyone’s favorite BBQ jams.
