Dear friends,

I'm pleased to announce an upcoming dinner in which I will be cooking a hapa-styled menu to pair with sakes for a very special benefit event. Our friends at Loving Day, a non-profit organization that promotes equal rights and pride for mixed-race people all over, are throwing a benefit soiree. A representative from Yoshinogawa Sake will be there to tell us about the four sakes we'll be trying, and I'll be the chef! Please find details and how to purchase tickets below. I hope that you might be able to make it!

Here's a teaser of the four-course menu...

Miso-Marinated Bluefish with Tuscan Kale Salad
Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Pork Belly & Shiso
Fiery Beets & Kimchee
Plum Pudding a la Mode

Happy fall!
