Fellow musicians,
great to see you all supporting the group again, thank you all very much. A very enjoyable evening as usual.
I've had a little fiddle with the first song book. 'Daisy' and one or two others have gone and a couple of simple ones have been added. The chords to the middle bit of 'Sway' have been sorted as well.

When you open the link, look for songbook 1 and print it out if you can.
If you don't want to print it all again, look in 'spare songs' , there is a folder in there called ' new songs for songbook 1'. Just print these to add to your existing print out.
A couple more things.
I think book 1 should be 7.30 till 8.50 with a short break for press ups. At 9.00 the whistle blows and the searchlights are turned on.We will then move quietly on to book 2 without attracting the attention of the guards.
Also I think playing between songs should be kept to a minimum please, just to help those trying to tune up and generally get their head around what we are doing next :-)
I was also wondering if anyone could come up with an idea for a bit of fun during the evening like a raffle or a game of Bingo. all chuck a quid in. maybe a fund raiser for a Christmas knees up. Any ideas welcome.
We did some great work on the rhythm playing this week. What seems hard now will just be an amusing memory when we do the Albert Hall.
