The Bloodaxe insurgents rose up against the Imperium, tactically attacking their supply chains, and as a result, became a thorn Balisarius couldn't ignore. He sent Admiral Atticus Noble and the King's Gaze to the system that housed the rebels. Noble's army of 5000 would hunt down the Bloodaxes and snuff out the rebellion. The process took longer than anticipated, and so Noble needed to stop on Veldt to replenish his food supply for his men. It was here that Arthelais, now known by the alias of Kora, was hiding out. Kora was all too familiar with the brutality of the Motherworld and chose to help the farming community mount a defense against the impending attack. Noble would have to wait ten weeks to collect the harvest, so in that time, Kora took to the stars to build a resistance force. Tricked by their pilot, Kai, the group of rebels Kora put together were captured and delivered to Noble, but thanks to Gunnar's unexpected courage, they managed to escape and a battle ensued. While it wasn't a total victory for the enemies of the Imperium, many of Noble's soldiers were taken down, with Noble believed to have lost his life, as well. However, the Kali of the King's Gaze were able to restore him.[1]
