Hi Thomas,

The roof has been fixed. You haven’t had any leaks I hope.

I suggest you call 311 about the homeless man or non emergency police (311). I’m

sure someone needs to get him out of the cold. In any case, please be careful and let me

know what the police say. I suspect you will need to call when he is there.

Do you not have an outside light on your back door?  Let, me know.

Thank you,

-Mary Kay

Hi Nicola and Mary Kay,

It has recently come to our attention that there is at least one homeless man that has been sleeping in the backyard of the house. We know this because we have been able to hear him moving around at night, seen glimpses of him leaving in the morning as well as footprints in the snow, and found a number of items, including a pillow, sandbags moved to serve as a bed, empty beer cans, empty liquor bottles, and a used condom. As our fence is only 3 feet high (by far the lowest in the alley), we do not currently any way to block this person from entering our yard. Is there anything that the owner can do to help remedy this situation, such as installing a motion light or spotlight? Do you recommend that we report this or know to whom it should be reported?

Additionally, could you please let us know the status of the work order to fix the leak in the roof? We haven't heard anything since your last correspondence.

Thanks,

Thomas LeMense
