hp deskjet 930c menüs

hi!!

i got a big problem:
all my menues of the software of my hp deskjet 930c appear in some kinda
scandinavian language although i installed the german driver. even if i
install some other driver, i.e. the french or russian one, this does not
change anything. in the manual the menues are diosplayed in german. i wonder
why i cant seem to get it work.besides, why does hp put several
language-specific driver versions on the driver-cd if it does not lead
anywhere???
i got no idea. anyone can help?
