Next month we'll bring you news of the numbers of poems we received in all the categories (they've been flooding in over the last few days I can say!) and an update on judging. The prize presentations will take place on 23rd August 2010 in Glasgow, and winning schools will be informed before the end of the summer term.
I have sent out nearly 80 free sets of Hannah Frank books and the DVD to Scottish schools and we have had some fabulous responses from teachers.
The girls loved Hannah's art and great discussions followed looking at the paintings. I plan to use them and the books you supplied again at future dates and am very grateful to you for the resources.
PRINTS SOLD AT AUCTION
Due to increasing scarcity of the remaining signed Hannah Frank prints (some are down to single figures across all our outlets), we have now raised the prices of the signed prints on the website - enquire for details to me at hannahf...@googlemail.com. A set of signed Hannah Frank prints was recently auctioned at McTears (not by me) and we were impressed to see how sought-after these beautiful images are in the world of art-house auctions! A couple of original works and some bronze sculptures are likely to be auctioned later this year - we'll keep you informed. If you'd like to discuss acquiring a bronze, or any of the signed prints, please get in touch directly.
