Problems: Slow backups, HB7 freezes while processing backup

Solution:

This problem can be connected with the incorrect work of Handy Backup 7 with Intel WiDi (Wireless Display technology) installed on your PC.

First of all uninstall Handy Backup (the program will automatically keep all you settings and tasks). To uninstall Handy Backup, follow these steps:

  1. Close the application.

On the File menu, click Exit, or right-click the Handy Backup Agent in system tray, and then click Exit. The agent icon will disappear.

  1. In Start menu, select All Programs -> Handy Backup -> Uninstall Handy Backup, or in Control Panel, open Change or Remove Programs, select Handy Backup, and then click Change/Remove.
  2. Click Yes when a warning window appears.
  3. Check the desired boxes to select components to be removed with the application, and then click Uninstall.

Then uninstall Intel WiDi. You may find it in the computer's Control Panel/Uninstall list.

After that install Handy Backup again.
