Settings and tasks import and export (Version 7)

This guide will help you to find where all the settings and tasks are kept so that you can restore them when needed.

All your tasks and settings are located in the following folder:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Novosoft\Handy Backup 7\Settings\";

Or if you are using other versions of Windows: "C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Novosoft\Handy Backup 7\Settings"

You may copy them to the same folder on another PC (Handy Backup should be already installed!) to avoid creating all tasks again for Handy Backup. Note that it is only possible if you version of Handy Backup is registered. It is currently not possible to transfer tasks and settings of v.6 and earlier versions to v.7 due to significant differences in the architecture and backup structure of the new version. We're currently working on a tool to make the transfer possible. It's worth mentioning that Handy Backup is tied to the hardware, which means for using on two PCs you need two licenses.
