After upgrading to Windows 10 there are some minor issues. Posts suggest I uninstall printer software and install latest driver. What is the best way to do this? The HP Print and Scan Doctor gives me the option to "Uninstall and Reinstall with the latest software". Will this do it all? When should I remove the printer from Devices and Printers?

Hi, You may un-install & re-install the drivers using hp print & scan doctor. Also you can go to contol panel ->programs-> Find envy 5660 basic software & uninstall the same. Once un-installed you can donload the printer drivers from the following location & you can install the same.
So is this a local installation or remotely from an installation server (from the DP GUI basically)? If local then I guess this is on the command line, right? What exactly are you starting? I see a message about "setup", so is it indeed a setup binary that is run? I may be able to find this out myself, but if you can tell already then that would help. Did you check there is not -help option to display the different options and maybe there is an option to remove software? If that is not the case then it either does not exist or it is hidden (I would need to investigate). The other option you have is to use the OS tool which would be "smit" on AIX I believe. That would probably be the easiest option to cleanup the situation. All this is assuming the installed 6.10 client does not belong to any cell anymore .... because if the cell would still be available, you should be able to delete the client from there and have the software removed.
I have re-intstalled drivers, going up and down in versions for the BM card, I have reintalled Avid, trashed settings, created new user, new project. and still get this error. The card works great in Davinci Resolve Lite, Adobe Premiere but Avid has the problem. I have even uninstalled Windows updates. The last updates from Windows still on the system were May 17. System was working great and this error just started. I have reseated all cards. Anyways, I am stumped on this. Ideas?
After much going back and forth, I am hoping that I fixed the problem. Its working good now. I uninstalled all Windows updates from May and June although even from the CMD line I couldn't uninstall KB3020369 or KB3020370. I also uninstalled MC, Boris Red 5.5, BM Desktop.
I then reintstalled BM Desktop to an old version to force a firmware update (downgrade) on the card and then uninstalled it. Then I reinstalled MC, reinstalled BM Desktop 10.4.1 (which also forced the firmware upgrade on the card), reinstalled Boris and so far, knock on wood its working. I'm thinking the firmware on the card was corrupted some how....
Well the error came back but I narrowed it down to Newblue Titler Pro 3. Removed it from the system and have had no problems. Tried reinstalling but it still gave the error. Once uninstalled, all was good. I contacted Newblue support yesterday but have yet to receive a response.
