Hello all,

I wanted to let you know that my family is moving to San Antonio this May due to a change in my partner’s job. I’m so excited about what HandsOn Northeast Georgia has been able to do these past few years to raise the profile of volunteering in our community and help connect you with new volunteers.

In addition to my oversight of HandsOn, I also oversee the 2-1-1 Information & Referral helpline.

If you know of anyone that would be interested in applying for the position, please share the job notice and attached job description with them.

Community Connection of NEGA seeks a Program Director. Position is responsible for success of 2-1-1 Information Helpline and HandsOn Northeast Georgia programs, including management of staff; program planning, oversight, and evaluation; engagement in and coordination of community partnerships; public outreach and education; support and development of fundraising efforts. Advanced degree in public administration, non-profit administration, social work or a related field preferred, project management experience required. Excellent communication, management, teamwork, common sense, critical thinking, and organizational skills required. High proficiency in Microsoft Office required, competency in database development and web design highly desired.
