The Microsoft Office Picture Manager may not have all the bells and whistles available in modern photo management tools. Still, if it has everything you need, you can install it and use it to manage your photos and pictures.

Well I uninstalled Office SharePoint 2010 and sure enough Office Picture Manager went with it. I had hoped that would not happen; that maybe picture manager would stand alone. I think I will give it up because to keep it means installing, at this point, 55 more updates for Office 2010 on top of the 3 I did download/install. (All three uninstalled with SharePoint and Picture Manager.) So I seem to be clean of Office 2010 updates and SharePoint 2010. Disappointed about loosing Picture Manager. Oh well.

The four main features that they liked about it was the ability to view all pictures in one view in the program and select which pictures that they wanted to print from within the program. The third feature was the ability to easily set the number of pictures that you wanted to print on one page! The last feature was the easy editing and resizing features included in the program.

There are some issues with the Picture Manager program. Two glitches that I can recall. One particularly irritating bug around the way you save an edited picture. But the version I am downloading is the 2010 version as that is what includes Picture Manager. It is too old. So I am not wanting keep using it.

Almost always, I use a web site for picture editing called pixlr. Its easy to use, free version has plenty of tools, and most importantly it supports layers. Opens a new window Layer support is the main reason I stopped using Irfanview and found pixlr

Now on the next screen, select Run from My Computer for Microsoft Office Picture Manager and Not Available for all the other programs, as shown below.Click on Install now, and the installation will proceed. Once it is completed, you will be able to see Microsoft Office Picture Manager under Recently added in your Windows 10 Start Screen.Click on it to open the program.Microsoft Office Picture Manager allows you to manage, edit, share and view your pictures. The Locate Pictures feature is pretty useful in locating all your pictures. You can use the picture editing tools to crop, expand, or copy and paste. You can also share or send pictures in e-mail messages or create a picture library on your corporate intranet. You may also use the Setup.exe file from Office 2010, 2007 or 2003 installation CD and during installation, select Customize and then opt to install only Microsoft Office Picture Manager. But you may face licensing issues, in this case, so using SharePoint Designer is the better option.Enjoy using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, even if you have Office 2021/19 installed on your Windows computer. Now see how you can get the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 11/10.

Hi everyone. I don't own any of microsoft office suites and I don't need one. We are using 2007 and 2010 packages of office at work and both of them come with microsoft picture manager and I would really like this handy piece of software for my pc but without need for buying office.

My cousin's brother re-sized all the images to 25% (or so) using MS office picture manager. There were a few pictures that appeared fine after being re sized, but the majority of the pictures are blank (showing a white blank background). All what I can see is a white background, images are in same sizes, also the dimention. Has anyone gone through such a scenario?? or anyone can say what could cause such an issue??

I had the exact same problem last night. I was editing my honeymoon pictures and pushed save and the pictures saved as blank files. After spending my entire night, I figured out how to get the pictures back.

One such tool is the Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It includes a lot of useful features that will allow you to quickly edit a picture and make use of it. If you are interested in using this software tool, you have come to the right place. In this text, you are going to learn the following.

Like all the other Microsoft apps, the MOPM comes with different available menus and toolbars. It is also equipped with several task panes, a shortcut pane. You can make the whole picture editing process quicker by learning all of the available keyboard shortcuts.

By relying on these two standard Windows 10 picture managers, you can easily make adjustments to your favorite images. But as previously mentioned, Microsoft Office Picture Manager is more suitable for making batch edits to a set of images.

I took four pictures using the camera on my LG V30 phone. The first picture was taken with the top of my phone pointing up. I rotated the phone so the top of phone was pointing left and took the second photo. I rotated the phone so the top of phone was pointing down and took the third photo. I rotated the phone so the top of phone was pointing right) and took the fourth photo.

Using Microsoft Office Picture Manager allows you to have a flexible way to manage, edit, and share your pictures. You can view all your pictures no matter where they are stored; the Locate Pictures feature will even help you find them by doing the searching for you. Picture Manager can also automatically perform corrections to your pictures. If you ever need to adjust something more specific, you can choose from several individual picture editing tools. Sharing pictures is more powerful using Picture Manager, which allows you to send pictures in e-mail messages or Create a Picture Library on your corporate intranet (intranet: A network within an organization that uses Internet technologies (such as the HTTP or FTP protocol). By using hyperlinks, you can explore objects, documents, pages, and other destinations on the intranet.).

I assume what's going on is that in PDN you're seeing the actual pixel data (because it's an image editor and you're working at a pixel level), and Picture Manager is scaling the image using the DPI/resolution in some way because it's an image manager more concerned with presentation.

One of the best free photo organizing software features a full-screen viewing system and customizable image manager. While working with the image, the user has the ability to cancel and repeat the actions as many times as he/she wants.

As I never use Window's picture manager, not familiar with how it works. But I use the free Faststone Image Viewer that you can find the exif data as well as histogram. It also comes with a few modification tools which are very easy to use.

Select an image and edit the picture. Start this process by selecting an image from the picture pane then choose the Edit Picture option in the menu bar. After selecting Edit Pictures, the Edit Picture task pane displays on the right-hand side. In the example below, the Koala has been selected as the image to be edited.

The Office Picture Manager is an application, offered by Microsoft that you can use to easily manage, edit (crop, resize, flip, rotate, etc.) and share pictures. The Microsoft Office Picture Manager is included in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010 versions, but, as you may know, is not included at the latest versions of Office suite 2013, 2016 and Office 365.

Wow! Just like that!! Thank you so much, it worked easily and more than I could have imagined. I lost hope of editing my pictures when I found this important program was missing! This is amazing, much blessings!

I would like to know if this installation (picture manager) can be possible with my open office 2016 I already bought ? I am afraid if open office 16 disappaer !!! I am french girl I hope you understood what I mean.
Picture manager is very nice and easy.
Appreciate on your reply.

Thank you for this information! I am always using this program and was so frustrated for many months when I had to buy a new computer and could not get the old office tools back. I do a lot of research and needing to quickly resize extremely large photos or adjust a snippet of text that is in image form to adjust the brightness or darken it to be able to read it. No editor will do these actions in a simple quick way as is done by the Microsoft Picture Manager 2010. The new one is so bad in this regard. Thanks so much for giving back this tool.

Dear VG-You are brilliant! Thank you. I was about to purchase Office 2010 after purchasing and installing office 2016 mostly because I had no picture manager except Adobe photoshop which is overkill. This is an elegant fix. Many thanks!

This is kind of cool for digital camera users whose flash memory cards showup as a separate drive. Just have Picture Manager scan that drive each time youput in a memory card, and the pictures become available.

After clicking the Edit Picture button and opening the Edit panel, I clickCrop. Now I can get rid of myself in the picture and keep my friend. I can makefurther adjustments and see the new dimensions.

Now let's create a version of this picture to use in FrontPage –and post on the Web. I need to change the file type to JPG (to be seen in a webbrowser) and hopefully to compress the picture size significantly.

Microsoft Office Picture Manager, used to be Microsoft Picture Library, is a raster graphics editor introduced in Microsoft Office 2003, as the replacement to Microsoft Photo Editor. Microsoft Office Picture Manager allows users to view, manage, share, and edit pictures from where there are stored.

In Microsoft Office, you can view, manage, share, and edit your pictures. It provides a Locate Pictures feature that helps you find pictures with a powerful search. By editing your pictures, you can make some changes to your pictures.

You can resize large number of images at same time. Many time it is a main requirement to reduce the size of images and upload it to web. When we copy photos from a Digital camera, File size will be too large, It is not required that much resolutions for sharing images over the web. So we can reduce the size and upload it. For this type of simple image editing you can use Microsoft office picture manager.
