The Kalavant Center will present an evening of Indian classical music
on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 8:00 pm at The Rosenthal Pavillion,
The
Kimmel Center, New York University, 60 Washington Square South, New
York, NY 10003.
Ustad Kadar Khan and Imran Khan will perform a tabla duet,
accompanied
by Ikram Khan on sarangi.
Smt. Swagata Chakraborty will give a classical vocal recital,
accompanied by Ustad Kadar Khan on tabla and Ikram Khan on sarangi.
Tickets are $20 per person and are available at NYU Ticket Central:

is a 50% discount for students (ID required).
