A couple of years ago, I purchased directions for building my own bell tree stand, but now I can't find the link online.  Can someone refresh my memory?  I know someone else who wants to build one.

Thanks,
Linda Lamb

Hi Linda,

There are quite a few homemade stand plans available.  Plans can be obtained from sguil...@cox.net, l...@chamberscable.com, sspa...@dakotacom.net, and STEProject.com.  For a portable stand which fits into a suitcase, contact Christine Anderson at vbr...@yahoo.com.  I don’t have personal knowledge of all of these stands but the shapes appear to be similar to the stand being commonly used (with the T on top).  I have info on other plans as well with a little different design.  What design will you want?

Barb

Hi Merry,

Could you post a specific link?  Doing a search on ebay doesn't get me anything approaching a build-your-own bell tree stand.  The only bell trees that turn up are the percussion instruments:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/LP-LP450-26-Bell-Bell-Tree-with-Stand-/121312895445?pt=US_Drums&hash=item1c3ecfe1d5

Very frustrating.

Thanks,
LindaL

Linda,

Here are the instructions for building the bell tree stand I use. No charge. Your local hardware store will more than likely get a kick out of helping you.
