That’s beautiful! How about just adapting it for ringers – change sing to ring and lips to hands.
Bless, O Lord, us your servants who minister in your temple.
Grant that what we ring with our hands we may believe in
our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts we may show forth in our
lives.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Although there are usually no lyrics involved in our music, a great deal of it is based on hymns and we learn about their message as we prepare them.
Just a thought…

Judy,I had to go look up the title of the book but here is what I have."Ringing True - Prayers for Handbell Ringers" by Linda Stahelin It was published in 2007. It contains 101 pages of prayers for seasons, and everyday events for Handbell ringers..It is still in print. Here is the url: http://www.wlp.jspaluch.com/8256.htmThere was also a Bell Prayer printed in the AGEHR Overtones back in the dark ages (90's). I had a copy somewhere, but I have been unable to locate it.Hope this helps!Debbie Shaw

I suppose I could, in between everything else, but I was kind of hoping there was one already in use! <362.gif>
