I don't usually push my own work- but I do have a piece sitting around that would be great for the Bay View crowd.
A couple of years ago I did a setting of Weinberger's Polka (the first part of the Polka and Fugue from Schwanda the Bagpiper). My bronze-level community choir performed it as part of an opera-themed program. The arrangement works very well- but it's really hard. It would be a nice challenge for the Bay View ringers- and it's lots of fun to play. I've never submitted it for publication- there's not a lot of call for the hard stuff- but I'd be pleased to have it used. And if anyone else wants to work their choir like crazy, I'd be glad to share it!
