Help! I've lost some music and I can't remember the name, composer, or publisher, so I can't even buy it again. It's a wonderful two-octave mini suite based on "This Is My Father's World." It has three or four movements; one is "Stars" and another might be "Rain." There is a spoken  introductory Bible verse, and a another verse introducing each new movement. It ends with the bells playing the hymn tune, and maybe the congregation singing. Ring any bells? (Pun intended, sorry.)

It was published maybe 35 or more years ago. I've looked at probably a bazillion arrangements of the hymn tune, but can't find this one. Anyone out there with a memory better than mine? Thank you!

Hi, All!

The Oklahoma City Handbell Ensemble is getting ready for our Spring concert series.  This season, our theme honors the 30th anniversary of the Murrah building bombing in Oklahoma City.  We are also joining forces with the Tulsa Festival Ringers.  They are sharing the same theme and we will present 2 joint concerts – 1 in Tulsa and 1 in OKC.  I don’t have a complete list of TFR’s repertoire, but I can share ours.  The pieces marked with an asterisk will be played by both choirs at the joint concerts with the pieces marked by a + are the solo pieces we will present at the joint concerts.

*Praise and Reflection, by Mary Kay Parrish

+Reflections on the Plains, by Cathy Moklebust

+Song of Peace, by Arnold Sherman

Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace, arr. Kevin McChesney
