Hello All,
I am in need of some assistance from Fellow Dispatchers, if your able to help that would be greatly appreciated.
We have 2 Dispatchers at Somerset that the are the parents to a son Skyler Hunt who was invovled in an ATV accident on 7/3/11. He is currently at EMCC in Bangor with severe head trauma.
We have organized a Benefit Raffle that will entail $10 a piece donations that will enter your name into a drawing for an IPAD 2 ( 16g $500 value)
What I need from some of you are volunteers who would be able to take some of these raffle tickets from me and sell them off at your dispatch Centers..I am thinking in small groups of 10 or 20 so its not too overwhelming of a task. If you feel that you could easily take a group of 10 or 20 ( Or more if you think you would be able to sell them off easily) Please let me know and I will make arrangements to get them to you as soon as possible. We are doing these in groupings for the sellers to have some organization, so My grouping is dispatch specifically. So if you know of another group ( ie..fire dept or Law ) that would be interested let me know and i will get them tickets..
Our intention is to sell as many tickets as we can ( Our goal is 1,000) and those who are selling tickets for us will have a sheet inside with specifics on the raffle, this is just a heads up and also to let me know how many tickets to get ready for you and arrangements for delivery. The drawing will be first or second week of August, so there is a need for quick tickets sales..
So what a wonderful way to help with a small donation your people can help and also may get something wonderful back for their gesture !!!!
If your not able to help but know someone who will please pass on my phone and email to them for me !!
