The snow started to fall around 4 Am this morning. We are about 30 degrees
so it does have a little wet heavy feel to it. The forecast is calling for
around 2 inches by 7 AM with another 1-2 inches before it turns to sleet and
freezing rain sometime around noon. Eventually it will end as plain rain
later this afternoon or evening.
This will make for snow covered roads and winter driving conditions for most
of the day. If you are headed out please leave yourself enough time to take
it easy and drive for the conditions. School is canceled for today, so that
will lessen much of the traffic during the morning commute.
We could see another round of freezing rain early tomorrow morning, stay
tuned for that one.
