Good Morning,

We had a little snow and sleet overnight, turning to freezing rain around 10
PM. The temperatures came above 32 degrees around 2 AM. As long as they keep
climbing we should be out of the woods for a severe icing event. The trees
do have some build up on them but they seem to be handling it fine at this
time. We will begin treating all roads around 3:30 or so. Early morning
travelers should be prepared for icy/slushy driving conditions for a while,
possibly through mid-morning.

I will update in the morning for any long term changes to the forecast.

Good Afternoon,
Well the bulk of the rain has passed, we hadd over 1.5 inches of rain
at my office. The temperature did not rise as high as they said
(surprise huh). We still have ice buildup in the trees in the higher
elevations of town.

Later tonight we will drop back below freezing, anyone traveling
tonight should be aware that refreezing of the roads may occur at any
time. We will also see an increase in the wind. If the ice remains on
the trees this could lead to scattered power outages.

Sunny and warmer on Saturday, maybe then the puddles will begin to dry
up and the ice will melt, gotta love New England.

Have a good night
Kurt
