Linux with SIS chipset and vga

Does anybody know wether there are some linux drivers for a mainboard with
sis chipset, vga and sound on board ?

XFree86 has the drivers for some SiS chipsets. You can choose the VGA16 server
if thats what you require. If you had posted more info on your particular
hardware, I could tell you what you need. As for the on-board sound, again,
you have not posted enough detailed info. Check out their website for more
info.

Got the Frame Buffer Server for X and upgraded to 2.2.X kernel and I was good
to go. I'm currently running 1024x768x32 have tried higher rez but on a 17"
screen its to hard to read. Ideally the SIS530 will be incorporated into the
SVGA Server to take advantage of its acceleration but for now this is working
very well.
