The Gospel now is the same
as the Gospel was when Christ showed it to Paul
to preach to the nations,
and the same as the Gospel was when Christ showed it
to Luther to enable the Protestant Reformation:
Christ came into the world as our Righteous Substitute
who kept all the commands of God for us,
went to the cross for us, died for us, and rose again.
The moment that Christ gives us faith to stop
trusting our own supposed "righteousness" and
rather start trusting him to be righteous for us
for salvation, he gives us eternal life.
(John 1:29,36, 3:12-16, 6:51, 14:1-6, 16:7-16,33,
Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-26, 4:3-8,20-25, 5:8-11,15-21,
1 Corinthians 1:30-31, 2 Corinthians 5:20-21,
Galatians 2:16, 3:22-26, Ephesians 2:8, 2 Timothy 1:9-10,
Hebrews 1:1-3, 2:9-18, 4:14-16, 10:5-14, 2 Peter 1:1)
Christ saved me by showing me the Gospel despite
at the time my being lost in deepest darkness
in the occult called Mormonism.
Christ showed me the real Biblical Gospel
in a moment of time, and that Gospel
is the same as he showed Paul,
and is the same as he showed Luther,
but is not the same as
the so-called "gospels" that
are so common and popular today.
The understanding of the real Biblical Gospel
is hardly heard or seen today
because the world warred against the Gospel
for the five centuries
since Christ showed it for the Reformation,
and pushed it aside by their counterfeits
that save no one,
just as the world did before
after the Apostles.
Though the real Gospel is right there in the Bible,
people cannot understand it unless Christ enables
that understanding just as for the Reformation.
In the counterfeit "gospels",
people trust in their own supposed
personal "righteousness",
as from change of mind, repenting, surrender,
personal commitment, baptism, "regenerated" self,
church, sacrament, giving, deeds, enduring, etc.
People should never trust in those things
for their salvation, but rather
do things out of love for God.
All trust must be on Christ to be righteous for us
in our stead forever for salvation,
for anyone to be saved.
