3,6,12. Sandwich dial is composed of two juxtaposed plates. The top
plate is perforated allowing the lower plate's Superluminova coating
to show through, providing maximum legibility. This coating was
formerly Radiomir - a zinc sulphide, radium bromide and mesothorium
composite - from which the watch derives part of its name.
