I have set up a IMAP account with OAuth in Thunderbird 52 since Google
required OAuth. POP3 is dropped too; though I saw articles mentioning it
is possible in principle, but Goolge did not implement it. So Hamster
should support IMAP first; and second, during the setup I see OAuth
requires HTTPS connection with JavaScript support to Google's server,
which may also hard to implement in Hamster because it relies on a basic
browser core. Yet it seems a one-time process, after which a "token" is
used by the client just like the password before. So maybe other
programs like Hamster could use the "token" too -- just my thought.
