Youcan immediately view captured waveform data by either clicking the VSA button or selecting Agilent 89600 VSA as the waveform destination in the capture mode's Waveform Setup leaf. See Basic Capture Setup for an example of capturing, analyzing, and saving waveform data.

The Baseband Studio for waveform capture and playback software automatically generates a sister file when waveform data is captured, so it is not necessary for the user to create this file. You can, however, edit the parameters or add new parameters. The 89601A software recognizes the following additional parameters:

I downloaded the driver for PXA N9030A and started using it. However, the driver is available only in Spectrum Anyalyzer mode. I'd to use the other modes like: 89601 VSA mode to make some measurements, but I can't

If I understand correctly, 89601 is a piece of software developed by Agilent. Are you asking if it is possible to interface the Agilent 89601 software with LabVIEW? Are the modes available in the instrument driver for your application not what you are looking for?

The driver supports the instrument and it's functions. If you want to replicate the software, you can do so with the driver and some custom LabVIEW code. To interface to the 89601 software which works with a variety of spectrum analyzers, see this.

The Configure Measurment Type.VI, in the block diagram, has a constant called Measurement Type that can be changed to the following: Swept SA, Channel Power (the spectrum mode), Occupied Bandwidth, Power Stat CCDF, Adjacent Channel Power, Burst Power, Spurious Emissions, Spectrum Emmision Mask, List Sweep

I think what you're looking for are the AgtVsaVector properties and methods. The first thing you have to do is install the Agilent 89601 VSA software on your local pc and on the spectrum analyzer. I used version 7.20. As noted earlier, 6.x didn't play well. When you install the 89601 software on your pc, DO NOT install the Agilent IO libraries. Doing so will trash your GPIB setup because Agilent an NI used the same filename for one of the .dll's. The control I used to get to the application is just an Automation Refnum control. On the front panel: Modern/Ref Num/Automation Refnum, then rightclick on it and choose "Select Activex Class... Browse... Select "Agilent 89600 Vector Signal Analyzer Version 7.20...." in the drop down box, then select "_Application" in the table. Connect this to an Automation Open vi. You can leave the machine name unwired. Dcom will pick up the computer name to connect to through Component Services.

In the folder where the VSA software installed on your pc, there is a subfolder named "dcom". On my pc, the path is "C:\Program Files\Agilent\89600 VSA\dcom". In that folder, there is a Readme.txt file. Follow the instructions in there to set up dcom communications. The analyzer name is the computer name of the spectrum analyzer. If its an MXA, then its probably A-N9020A-(last 5 digits of serial number). You can also find this under "Show", "System" on the spectrum analyzer.

Once you've run setup.bat, you can then run testconnect.bat anytime to test the connection. All setup.bat does is set default settings in Component Services. You can do this manually through Component Services. Once that's done, it tries to launch the VSA software. Play around with the permissions until testconnect.bat is able to launch the vsa software. I gave the users I created on the vsa Full Access and things worked fine.

The Keysight (Agilent/HP) N4010A wireless connectivity test set is a measurement solution that enables efficient and lower cost test for products and components that incorporate Bluetooth wireless technology, Wireless LAN (WLAN), and other emerging wireless connectivity technologies.

The Bluetooth (N4010A Option 101) feature set provides the ability to connect to Bluetooth version 1.1 and 1.2 devices in either test mode or normal mode, and make measurements in accordance with the Bluetooth RF test specification. Bluetooth EDR link plus measurements (Option 107) add BTv2.0+EDR support and Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) measurement capabilities.

Bluetooth audio generation and analysis (Option 113), simplifies Bluetooth audio test configurations and provides cost-effective functional test of Bluetooth audio devices by performing a basic set of audio measurements. Headset profile (Option 112) enables testing of Bluetooth voice channels, audio gateway, and headset products.

The N4017A Bluetooth graphical measurement application, a PC-based software product, works in a complementary manner with the N4010A test set and provides the ability to fully configure the test set and display both numerical and graphical results.

The Wireless LAN feature set (N4010A Option 102/102) combines a fully-calibrated vector signal generator and wide bandwidth signal analyzer into a single test set, which enables efficient and repeatable WLAN module test from R+D through to production. N4010A Option 108 provides the software license for the 802.11n MIMO modulation analysis measurements within the test set.

The N4010A test set also works with the Keysight (Agilent/HP) 89601A and 89607A vector signal analyzer software. This software provides the flexibility to make a broad range of measurements for evaluating wireless formats in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band, including ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4.

The test set will meet its warranted performance after one hour within the stated environmental operating range plus 40 minutes after turn on. Unless otherwise stated, all specifications are valid over the temperature range 20 to 30 C. Supplemental characteristics are intended to provide additional information, useful in applying the instrument by giving typical (expected), but not warranted, performance parameters. These characteristics are shown in italics or labeled as nominal.

The Keysight (Agilent/HP) N4010A is fully tested and refurbished in our in-house ISO9001 calibration laboratory. We supply manuals, accessories, full warranty and a free-of-charge Certificate of Conformity. We can also provide the Keysight (Agilent/HP) N4010A with a fresh calibration for a small additional charge.
