Family Support Group for Addiction -- 2 spots left!

Hi all, are you working with any partners or parents of someone struggling with addiction? Or do any of your addiction treatment clients have a partner or parent who wants to learn more about addiction and how best to support the recovery process? Our new associate, Rebecca Willey, ASW  is starting a support group for family members with a loved one who is struggling with addiction. 

We are recruiting members for a Family Support Group for Addiction designed to provide parents and partners with the tools, guidance, and compassionate support they need to navigate the challenges of addiction and recovery.

This group is a great fit for families who are 

• experiencing strained relationships
• struggling with communication breakdowns
• finding it difficult to set healthy boundaries
• feeling overwhelmed by the process of helping a loved one access treatment 

Our approach integrates evidence-based strategies from CRAFT, ITC, and MI, including guidance on communication, intervention, and self-care, to empower families and foster positive change.

Ideal clients are:

1. parents of teens, TAY, or adult children misusing substances
2. partners of people struggling with drug or alcohol addiction
3. California residents

The group meets online for 10-weeks on Fridays 3:00-4:30pm. The cost of the group is $200 intake (sliding scale available) and $85 per group. More information is available in the attached flyer or on our website https://cacenterforchange.com/family-support-addiction
