One of my friends in the VLF community mentioned me a few days ago about this talk by Phil Erickson at the Nashoba Valley Amateur Radio Club (NVARC) back in 2022. I vaguely remember Phil asked me if he could use one of my VLF talks, so it turns out I ended up giving him my talk on VLF phenomena I originally did at the 2019 TAPR DCC.

As you would except, Phil did an absolutely wonderful job conveying not only how interesting VLF phenomena is, but my passion for it!

I highly recommend this talk, especially those new to VLF phenomena and want to learn more. It’s very comprehensive. Phil explains the basics so well that anyone can easily understand and learn. You can watch the talk here:

A big thanks to Phil for doing this talk and Jean Marie from the VLF community for finding it.

Hi all,

I forgot about this talk until now! Thanks for the reminder. Jonathan's material was comprehensive and I added a few things here and there, but he deserves the main credit of course.

These are always interesting subjects with lots of fascinating signals to explore.
