This year's HamSCI at Hamvention announcement is on the HamSCI home page, or directly accessible here.

The Booth Volunteer page is also up, though some details are missing, awaiting final arrangements.  Still to come:  Final locations, times, speakers and topics for the HamSCI Forum and Booth Talks.

We hope to see you in Xenia, Ohio on May 16-17-18!

A suggestion...

Re: lab coats...

Some may still not have one but may want one. Maybe a link to an order page with a "still time to order" tease.

Good point, Ed.  However, there is a glitch:  The lab coat vendor is not doing embroidery while they change supplies - so you can’t get the HamSCI logo put on them.  (I found that on their website, buried in their FAQ page).

I put a note on the 2025 Booth Volunteers page.  Hopefully, they will get their act together soon and we can make everyone aware.

CWRU has an embroidery machine, it has been a while, but perhaps it is time KB1QHX and I dust off our embroidery skills…

One additional 'ask' for Hamvention:  Who is using artificial intelligence or machine learning to enhance amateur radio in daily operating, station planning, or research which might impact ham radio (ie propagation forecasts, QSB analysis, solar cycle trends, TID recognition in Grape data, etc.)?  I believe a few are working in that space.  Here's why I ask:

The RCA (Radio Club of America) is looking for hams willing to speak (~15 minutes) at RCA 's Hamvention Forum (Friday morning, May 16th) on the subject of AI or ML as they apply to ham radio.

If anyone is interested in speaking,  you can contact Chip, W1YW directly via the email address on his QRZ page:  https://www.qrz.com/db/W1YW

Gary:

The FreeDV folks are very actively using ML to good effect for robust HF Digital Voice. They call their implementation RADE - I think standing for Radio Auto Encoder.

Hello All - The HamSCI Forum details and HamSCI/Hamvention map have been posted at  https://hamsci.org/article/hamsci-hamvention-schedule-and-map .  We will have 5 talks in Forum Room 1, Saturday from 4 to 5-ish PM

Additional good news:  The lab coat vendor is again offering embroidery - so anyone who orders a lab coat can embellish it in HamSCI style!
