Hello HamSCI - It has been just under a month since the inaugural running of the Meteor Scatter QSO Party. The response has been gratifying, with
72 stations having completed the entry process (see the
MSQP Guidelines page for a list of Entries Received.)
Better yet, 15 stations have uploaded their WAV files to the HamSCI Zenodo Community (list follows). The MSQP team would sure like to see many more upload their WAV files...
- We think they are going to be an important part of the scientific analysis
- We want to test the process, end to end, before the Geminids shower in December
A few have had trouble and sent comments and questions to
ham...@hamsci.org (I am in the process of addressing those comments individually). Please let us know if you were stymied along the way...we'd like to work through any issues and make improvements for next time. As a reminder, the instructions for WAV file uploads are on a
public GitHub page. (One small tweak to the instructions: You'll complete the Zenodo process by hitting 'Submit for Review', not 'Publish'. Nina, KD3BJV, at the University of Scranton, is performing the reviews - thanks, Nina.)
That's it for now from the MSQP worker bees. I hope everyone is enjoying good HF propagation as we approach the autumnal equinox on 22 September.
