Just three quick pieces of VERSIM news:

- The VERSIM 2026 workshop, as well as the preceding school, were quite amazing. Big thanks to all the organizers and to all of you who were able to participate! I am sorry for those who could not make it; hopefully the next one will work for you!

- There was an enormous number of excellent presentations by young scientists, so the decision was far from simple, but the VERSIM nomination for the IAGA Early Career Presentation Award goes to Yuri Ito. Congratulations!

- The next (2028) VERSIM workshop will be hosted by Yuto Katoh and his group at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. The tentative period is September 2028, but other options are still being considered, and we will run a poll on the best dates.
