If the station map does not display in Firefox

A recent Firefox issue has affected WebGL, the graphics technology used to display the station map. The symptom is that the page loads normally, but the map area remains blank.

If this occurs:

1. Update Firefox to the latest version.
2. Completely close Firefox and restart it after the update.
3. Reload the page.

If the map still does not appear:

• Open the site in Chrome or Microsoft Edge to verify that the problem is browser-specific.
• If it works in another browser, please let me know which version of Firefox you are using and what operating system you are running.

The map server itself is operating normally; this appears to be a browser-side graphics issue rather than a problem with the station server.

Tech Tip: The map uses Mapbox GL JS, which requires WebGL support. If WebGL is unavailable or disabled in Firefox, the map cannot be displayed.

If the PSWS web pages misbehave, especially with the map, you can check for this by opening the web site in Chrome; if that fixes it, the problem is probably the above.  -73 - Bill , AB4EJ
