I came across an announcement for this new mode on Groups.io (digitalradio.groups.io). Apparently it offers additional information useful for HF channel characterization.

Hi Mark,

I’m just learning about it now. I’m probably going to be meeting with the developer, Luke N2OSW, sometime in the next few weeks.

Nathaniel,
I would be interested in seeing if we can correlated some of these HF observations to ionospheric anomalies influencing GPS accuracy.

Thoughts?

Hi Gordon,

That is a question I would love to see addressed as well. I think this would be a good topic to talk about in the HF Channel Characterization group.

Hello everybody!

https://hfedge.org/ is live and about to begin alpha testing.

H-Mode v2 is currently in alpha testing and the libraries are publicly released under an MIT License on https://n2osw.com/ and github.

I am excited to see what the community can do with these :)

Cheers!

Luke
