Fwd: magnetosphere sample graphics

Kristina,

I showed Tamitha the icon sample of the magnetosphere as promised.  Her comments are below.  Her only concern is that the L-shells on the sun side of earth are showing termination at the poles,  The sun facing L-shells terminate to specific longitudes.

Jerry,

Here are the sample graphics. On the one you showed me, the nightside looks great, but the field lines on the dayside look like their footpoints in the ionosphere are converging too much. These examples show a more standardized depiction.
