Notes from PSWS / TangerineSDR call of 06-07-2021
1. There is an opportunity to send a Grape receiver to observe the total eclipse in Antarctica in December. Another Grape receiver is already being hardened for McMurdo.
2. Discussion on magnetometer radiated / conducted noise emission. Bill connected the Raspberry Pi common to ground at the source end and the noise reduced to very low levels.
3. Scotty still struggling to get a commitment for the FPGA order and delivery.
4. Lengthy discussion on FPGA implementation of Ethernet discovery and UDP protocol. Some issues likely remain unaddressed, need to followup via email.
