HamSCI at the Hunstville Hamfest, Aug 22-23, 2026

HamSCI is planning to have a well-staffed booth at the 2026 Huntsville Hamfest, August 22-23, 2026.

Located in Huntsville, Alabama, they claim to be the "World's Friendliest Hamfest®" since 1954.  

HamSCI members from around the US will be attending.  If you visit, expect to see Bob Gerzoff WK2Y, Rob Suggs NN4NT, Bob Reif W1XP and Bill Engelke AB4EJ at various times over the weekend.   They will be answering questions and recruiting like-minded citizen scientists.  Of course, all HamSCI members are welcome to stop in, sit a spell, and hand out a few HamSCI business cards to those who wander by.

One additional note, plus one request, regarding the Hunstville Hamfest:

National Convention for the ARRL, The National Association for Amateur Radio©, 

This event is also the venue for the ARRL's 2026 National Convention, so it will be a great opportunity to stop by the ARRL's many-faceted booths and displays, and say 'hello' to our partners from the League.

Request for Volunteers

If you are planning on attending the Huntsville Hamfest and would be willing to volunteer a little time to staff the HamSci booth, your help would be greatly appreciated.  Even if you have just half hour to offer, it would be very helpful.  (Bob's email address is good on QRZ.com.)
