Grape 1 protection from strong HF signals

Is it enough to disconnect a Grape 1 DRF from the antenna when transmitting on HF from a nearby station, or should the entire system be shut down and restarted afterwards?

Disconnecting the antenna is perfect! No need to shut it down.
