When I initially set up the Grape 2 last week I did not notice the results of the automatic Grid Square calculation during PSWS. While the GPS calculated lat/long were within 1 mile of our actual residence the Grid Square was calculated as JJ00aa which is off the coast of West Africa in the Gulf of Guinea far beyond the QTH in South Carolina.
As part of bringing the Grape 2 back on line today I adjusted the gain setting and ran PSWS and this time caught, and corrected, the incorrect Grid Square calculation. The Grid Square (EM93aa) is now correct and the Lat/Long are now precisely on our doorstep.
ISSUE: possible corruption of data submitted as a result of the incorrect Grid Square. Can that be corrected during data analysis?
