Hi, HamSCI-Eclipse!

Science results from the Solar Eclipse QSO Party have recently been published in Geophysical Research Letters, and the SEQP scores have been calculated and winners have been announced. Congratulations to all the winners! All of the information can be found at http://hamsci.org/seqp.

I’ve attached a map and figure from the paper that shows the RBN data coverage and propagation results from the eclipse. You can see we had excellent coverage during the SEQP. Greatly reduced propagation was observed on 20 m, extended ranges were seen on 40 m, and band opening were observed on 80 and 160 m. The paper is open access, you can download the full paper for free here: https://doi.org/10.1029/2018GL077324

Thanks for all of your support with this! I hoping to continue looking at the eclipse data for further study. If you want to look at eclipse data also, see the links on http://hamsci.org/seqp.

Thanks and 73,
Nathaniel W2NAF
