Final Payment and Weekend Schedule

Hi everyone,

Happy May! The start of summer is right around the corner but before the debauchery can begin, we owe one final payment. Please get your balance to Rick, Amanda, or I no later than Saturday May 11. Remaining balances are as follows:

Full Share: $1,350

Half Share: $700

Quarter Share: $350

On a more exciting note, the final Weekend Schedule is attached. We were essentially able to give everyone their requested weekends and kept the Holidays open to all. If you have any changes/conflicts/want to switch to a less crowded weekend, please let us know.

As she suggested, the schedule attached essentially just let things fall out as they were requested.  We don't really want to force people into weekends - so to some extent we are hoping this will self-regulate a bit.  Everyone has some relative utility of being in an less / more crowded place, and if your weekends happen to not be in line with that tradeoff for you personally, just let one of us know which weekend you'd prefer to switch.  I already know of a few changes along these lines.

 

With any luck, these dynamics may help balance things out a bit.  If not, that's fine too - we'll just have some weekends where it is quieter, and others that end up being more on the outrageous side of the ledger.

 

Lastly, count me among those shocked that Katie didn't include the summer countdown.  Given that we are now officially in May (the 2nd as it is past midnight), the math gets pretty easy, so simple that even I can manage it.  Memorial Day weekend starts just 3 short weeks from this Friday, or...

 

22 more days!

 

Hope everyone is getting excited.  Any questions let us know.  Next step will be organizing various supplies to get out there... and planning activities... the possibilities are nearly endless!
