Alessandria Ambrosia is going to be here. So I might not be able to go, cause last time I saw her she was pretty mad I upstaged her in a bikini

Happy Friday all!

Don't let this week's muggy air and the intermittently threatening skies put a damper on your mood. Instead, rejoice, for it means that the gloriousness that is the summer of 2013 is deepening.

Just this past week we crossed the formal dividing line away from spring and into this most decadent of of seasons. Heat and humidity may be annoying, but remember that it's always 10-20 degrees cooler out east. Plus it provides better opportunities to wear beach clothing. As an added benefit, the ocean temperature has now risen from high. 50s up to the mid 60s, so everyone should feel comfortable taking a dip.

While those summer storms can be pesky, keep in mind that every drop of rain that hits us during the week is one drop less that will land in the hamptons the following weekend*. Also, even if it comes on the weekend I'd argue that a rainy day spent in amagansett and montauk is better than a sunny day in manhattan in most cases.

But to keep things moving forward, I think that most everyone has now been out to the house - although I don't think Margaret has been fully initiated as she hasn't actually slept there yet. Hopefully you've enjoyed yourselves and are pleased with your investment. At least thus far, anyone that is unhappy seems to be keeping all the party pooping comments behind the backs of Katie, Amanda and me. But now that it's already been more than one month, with us about to head back from intermission into the proverbial 2nd period of the summer (Go HAWKS!), I thought in order to inject a bit of renewed enthusiasm into our activities I should perhaps proffer a motto for the coming days of summer.

A few days hence I was in the middle of an engaging discussion with some friends, when a question was offered - the specifics aren't germane to the final outcome, so let's just say it was would you rather do this (option A), or that (option B)? In response I raised a suggestion -- why not both?

I'd really like to harness that can-do attitude, and carry it with us in the coming days. I think this seemingly innocuous 3-word phrase can change our lives for the better. So, when prompted with such queries as:
- Should we go out to do the wine tasting, or drink wine at #themontana?
- Should I order a beer or a mixed drink?**
- Should we bring paddle ball or wiffle ball to the beach?
- Should I lay in the sun, or go out into the surf?
- Should we go to Cyril's or Sloppy Tuna for post beach festivities?
- Should I shotgun a beer or do a flabongo?
- Should we have a champagne party or a wine party to pregame for the montauk bars?
- Should I pop the c
