The Good King Rises

Friends, New Yorkers, Countrymen (and Countrywomen)-

 

I hope you all are having a delightful holiday season.  This time of year is best filled with plenty of celebration, lots of friends, and a plethora of warm (or cold) holiday beverages.  To that end, you may or may not have heard that, on this Saturday, December 14, the gentlemen of 13 E 17th Apt 5 are hosting the 6th annual Good King Wenceslas Party: The Good King Rises.

 

We have high expectations for this party, and our plans are at least slightly elaborate.  To start with, we hope that all of you can join us, in order to help spread the holiday cheer.  We have procured a real live Christmas tree to help brighten your night and make it smell a little more like your favorite time of year.  There will be lights, ornaments, and a variety of other decorations.  If all goes well with our planning, we will have complimentary coozies for all attendees, and the current expectation is that we'll even have a DJ.  A wide variety of beverages will be available, including but not limited to beer, wine, liquor, and hopefully a special holiday concoction.

 

So, set aside your Saturday night and get ready for some fun.  Feel free to participate in Santacon during the day, but make sure to save some energy, because you'll need it.  Bring yourself, any friends, and a winning attitude.  The party officially starts at 10pm, but feel free to swing by a bit earlier or later, there will be fun to be had.
