This is my second reply from within the Hamptoneer Google Group. I
think I understand what the problem was. It seems that signing up is a
two (maybe even three) step process; register with Google Groups (wait
for email to activate); sign up for group (wait for email to activate).
And it looks like I added an extra step by screening subscriptions --
that seems to start step two all over again.

Sheesh! There must be an easier way. And I may have found it. At
least it would be easy to sub to a "Read Only" version through an RSS
feed at Yahoo. Don't ask me to explain RSS and feeds yet -- I am still
trying to understand it all myselt.

I didn't receive this message in my e-mail, just decided it's easier to
check the Hamptoneers daily to see what's new. I'll follow the steps
and see what happens, will let you know.

Yes. It is only us.

I don't want to encourage subscriptions until I know they work correctly
(and I understand what correct is;-).

Between blogs, groups and feeds my head is reeling. The blogs are working
fine. WE are still working on the rest <VBG>

blog: http://hamptonnames.blogspot.com/ You can use any of them, I added
the link at the top of each.
