REMINDER OF TOMORROW MORNING'S MEETING........

Our February Meeting will take place at the Germany Library, 900 North Ashley Street, Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. It will be in the Genealogy Department on the 2nd Floor of the library annex.  Park on the 2nd floor level of the Poe garage and walk across the enclosed walkway.  The entrance to the Germany Annex is on the right hand side about halfway between the Poe Garage and the Performing Arts Center.  Walk straight thru the doors to the large window at the front.  Take the elevator located there to the second floor. 

 

We will be doing City Directory research.  Bring pen and we will supply the form, or if you have a laptop, bring it and we will input directory information into a prepared database. 

 

We will also talk about ways to use the information we are gathering to prepare presentations for the neighborhood.

 

From now on we are meeting on the first Saturday of the month (We changed this month because of Gasparilla) either at the Seminole Heights or the John Germany Library.  Our focus is on gathering historical and architectural information about Hampton Terrace.
