30/9 8:30 : 4 Ring Ouzel : Old Winchester Hill.
Possibly 5. Favouring the bushes at the bottom of the reserve's southern meadow (the south slope of the hill-fort) and best viewed from the South Downs Way. Vocal, but flighty and mobile, venturing out along the hedgerows of neighbouring fields. Two immature males + female/immature birds. Early for this site.
