I hope everyone has a had a great Christmas and looking forward to a great new year?

I was thinking that we should get the ball rolling and try to organise the first meetup. To start with I think it would be great to just get everyone in the same room and start the conversation over a beer (or your chattering beverage of choice).

I'm going to throw a date out there - 18th January 2012 @ 18:30.

Does anyone have any ideas for a local hostelry, with quiet enough space for a few rubyists and easily accessible for those who need to drive / get a train?
