How To Install Ise Design Suite 14.7

Ipromise I've spent plenty of time looking for AutoCad Architecture 2016 and cannot figure out how to download and/or install it. I have a maintenance subscription for the Building Design suite and when I installed that, only "regular" AutoCad 2016 was installed. Not Architecture (or any of the other products, I only use Architecture so that's the focus of this post). Any ideas? Maybe I didn't select the proper things to install or not to install (although I didn't really see options, I just chose "install now" when it downloaded the suite).

I have never run the "Install Now" option. After the initial file(s) download, is there not a screen that allows you to choose what software you want to install, and, for many of the titles, customize the installation? If there is not, then it should be installing the entire suite, in my opinion. Perhaps you just accepted the initial defaults, which may not have included AutoCAD Architecture.

If the dialogs are similar to the installation dialogs when downloading the files and then installing, after you enter the serial number and product key, you will get a dialog similar to that shown below. Scroll down and verify that AutoCAD Architecture is checked; click on the down arrow to access the installation customization options.

Each component has its own serial number. Master Collection has an additional serial number for Color Finesse. If you purchased an upgrade, use a qualifying serial number to complete the installation.

Note: Discs labeled "Content" contain optional, nonessential files that are not required to install the product. For example, a Content disc can contain ReadMe files, tutorials, or example files. Most CS5 products come with separate installers for Acrobat 9 Professional. (The Acrobat installers are included in CS5.5. If you are installing CS5.5, skip this section.) If you already have Acrobat 9 Pro installed, either as part of a suite or as a stand-alone application, do not reinstall it. If you're an existing Acrobat 9 Pro user, download and install the most current updates. To check for updates, open Acrobat 9 Pro and choose Help > Check for Updates.

No matter how many times I would try, it would fail with the same error, but I tried a week later and I could eventually access the download link to the Linux version with some simple installation instructions:

Nice! Another error. I tried to run the program as root, but it is not recommended either for security reasons, and it did not work either. The solution is just to create the directory and make it writeable to the user.

I still did not work properly because I had launched lmgrd several times, and other instances were still running taking port 1702. So I killed all lmgrd processes, and gave it a final try which appeared to work. The log is long so I posted it to CNX Pastebin.

There are a few features not working on Ubuntu 18.04. I first thought about installing Ubuntu 18.04 in VirtualBox, but the minimum requirements to use Libero SoC including having 16GB RAM, and my PC only has 16 GB RAM, so a virtual machine would have less than that. The next option would be to install Ubuntu 18.04 on a USB drive, but seeing some features are not supported, I decided to switch my current internal HDD with one with Windows 10 to keep things safe, and avoid wasting even more time.

There was a RISC-V core design challenge in which I got a free Microsemi FPGA board to participate with. I ended up giving up when I had to try and install Libero SOC, so I never even started the challenge because of it.
