This movie was a major let down. I say that not from my perspective, but from my dad's. This was one of my christmas presents from my dad based on a conversation we had about religion becoming a major part of Bollywood, which is a MAJOR part of Indian culture. This movie, however, was like watching a bad youtube video. It seemed like it was almost trying to be bad at times. Forced CGI and cheesy scenes made me begging for this movie to end before the hour mark was even reached. It really was not painful to watch. I give it a 1.5 instead of a 1 only for the few times my dad and I simultaneously looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Meh.
There's a scene in which the eldest kid asks a white dude, if they have 'servants' here in America. He clearly wanted to imply that they do have 'servants' in India which is sign of a supposed aristocracy. *Ahem...Son, you're just being proud of the huge class contrast in India, read a fucking book.
