Does Spanish speech-to-text, translates from Spanish to English, and
displays English on a pair of digital display glasses (and the inverse
translation for the other speaker

Also see http://translate.google.com if you aren't familiar with it
already. The quality of the translations I've tried have improved
dramatically in the last few years.
Imagine a future radio which could facilitate an SSB phone QSO with a
Finn (e.g.) by translating in real-time and displaying in English (and
vice-versa for the Finn, of course)!
Maybe not as far off as you think...!
