Hello,

As a follow up about my QUCS presentation yesterday here are some
notes likely of interest.

Examples can be found here.
http://qucs.sourceforge.net/examples.html

A fairly in depth tutorial PDF found here
http://qucs.sourceforge.net/docs/equations.pdf

QUCS is free as in beer, and free as in freedom. Works on Windows,
linux and Mac. I see my windows install file was under 7megabits.

More about QUCS including the download page can be found here.
http://qucs.sourceforge.net/

Best regards.

Thanks for the links, Jared. I really enjoyed your presentation last night,
and am happy we were able to do it in our impromptu setting.

One thing for all of us to keep in mind is the vast range of experience and
knowledge at our sessions. We must strive to educate and enlighten not only
the Old Salts, but also our newest hams who may not yet possess the same
levels of knowledge and experience.

Yes, agreed we should have content for a large
range of skill sets, and we should freely share
ideas and information. I think we all have
something to contribute. Here's a link that might
be of interest, it's a PDF tutorial showing how to
setup a simulation for a single transistor. See
