Any examples of apps built on top of Hammerspoon?

Hi all,

I am researching a project proposal, and I was wondering if there are any open-source apps that shim (wrap around) Hammerspoon to provide a GUI, preset Lua functions, templates, etc.

Maybe I misunderstand your question.

But the only solution in this direction which I know is CommandPost. 
But CommandPost is not a shim but a fork of Hammerspoon with a GUI

CommandPost seems to be in the same spirit as my project, which is focused on creating Ableton control surfaces.

It is actually a shortfall of Ableton to not provide custom keyboard shortcuts, which is a shame!

Once you have the power of Lua and Hammerspoon, it is possible to call (across the network boundary) to a custom Ableton control surface (see https://github.com/gluon/AbletonLive12_MIDIRemoteScripts)
